Kerala lunch!

Just when we thought the day couldn't get more exciting, Riyas announced that the girls had made us lunch! They, along with their families, prepared food, sang songs, recited poetry, and watched us eat (finding out that this is cultural and we just have to get used to it!). They prepared some amazing local dishes and it was evident that there was pride in their presentation, program and Kerala. They were so excited to share the foods and ingredients with us, always with a smile and always with a "it's from Kerala!"
